Digital Marketing Specialist (Content Writing & Video Editing)

Role Summary :

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for strategizing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across various online channels. This role also plays a key part in content creation, including social media visuals, promotional videos, and branded graphic assets. The ideal candidate combines creative storytelling with analytical skills to drive engagement, generate leads, and support brand growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Digital Campaign Management
    • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
    • Manage paid media budgets, targeting, A/B testing, and ongoing optimization.
    • Collaborate with team members to align messaging across channels.
  2. Content Creation (Copy, Graphics, and Video)
    • Produce engaging written content for blogs, emails, website pages, and ad copy.
    • Design graphics, infographics, and promotional banners using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Shoot, edit, and publish short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, landing pages, or paid ads.
    • Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and speaks to target audiences.
  3. Social Media Marketing
    • Create, curate, and schedule posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
    • Monitor community engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow audience organically.
    • Maintain a social media content calendar and stay on top of trends.
  4. SEO & Website Optimization
    • Implement on-page SEO best practices and collaborate on backlink strategies.
    • Review website performance and user behavior using analytics tools.
    • Suggest improvements to UX/UI or content hierarchy based on data.
  5. Email Marketing & Automation
    • Build and segment email lists.
    • Design and deploy campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or ActiveCampaign.
    • Track open rates, CTR, and conversions for optimization.
  6. Reporting & Analysis
    • Track KPIs across platforms (traffic, engagement, conversions, ROI).
    • Generate monthly reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Use tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Meta Insights, and SEMrush.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field. 
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing with hands-on experience in graphic and video content creation. 
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar. 
  • Working knowledge of digital ad platforms and analytics tools. 
  • Strong understanding of SEO, social media trends, and content marketing. 
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
