Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Website Designer & Developer to design, build, and maintain engaging, responsive websites for our company and clients. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for aesthetics, UX/UI design, and clean front-end development practices. They should also have a working knowledge of WordPress, web performance optimization, and cross-platform compatibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design visually appealing, user-friendly websites aligned with brand identity and business goals
- Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress (or other CMS
platforms) - Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes as needed
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging
- Regularly test and update websites to enhance performance and security
- Refine site speed and implement SEO best practices
- Manage hosting environments and domain setups
- Maintain consistency in branding, layout, and design standards
- Troubleshoot issues and bugs on time
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience in website design and front-end development
- Website designer – at least 2 years of experience
- Ability in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks like Bootstrap
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
- Strong visual design skills and familiarity with Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools
- Basic SEO knowledge and web performance optimization
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and basic A/B testing tools is a plus
Preferred Experience:
- E-commerce website design/development
- Experience with motion graphics or animation (e.g., Lottie, WEB flow animations)
- Working knowledge of Git or version control
- Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment
